Reflecting upon this team project, I have learned a lot regarding the nursing practice in general, as well as evidenced based practice, inter-collaborative team work and communication. There is a lot that goes into all of these, much of which I never realized before completing this team project. After completing this team project, I feel as if I am much more competent regarding my capacity to contribute to quality improvement and EBP initiatives. This is because my team process for this project focused on communication, collaboration, and accountability. These are important qualities of a future nurse, especially when it comes to being able to contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.

I discovered that as a team member, I work effectively in a group setting, which is very important as a future nurse, as I will be collaborating with professionals of many different healthcare roles. As a team member, I found that I can communicate well with my teammates, and encourage hard work to accomplish the goals and tasks at hand. The team process worked very well for my team, as it reflects how teamwork and collaboration appears in the healthcare setting, emphasizing communication, teamwork, and accountability.
