I personally am not familiar with the nurse’s role in ethics regarding evidence implementation and generation. I feel like nurses probably do have a big role in it, as they are the ones who implement most of the EBP and are directly observing their patients when they do it. I would assume that nurses play a major role in evidence generation, as they are the ones who spend a majority of time doing hands on tasks with their patients. They can probably generate evidence for a research question fairly easily as compared to others.

The same goes for implementation, I feel like since nurses spend so much one on one time with their patients, that they can easily implement some evidence based practice and research findings. They would also probably be able to observe after the practice has been implemented and document any progress or changes that occurred.
